Lebo is a BA Law student at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). He has served as a member of the national task team in 2015 and was then subsequently elected as the national Secretary General in 2016. As an activist, he is passionate about rural land justice and has participated in research on the topic in northern KZN with LARC. He is also passionate about gender justice and gay rights. He stepped in to serve SLSJ as an acting president from March 2017 and continues to lead students toward social justice.

Olwethu is currently completing his LLB at the University of Pretoria. He has been an active member of SLSJ at his branch since its establishment in 2015. Before taking the responsibility as the national Secretary General, he was elected as the branch Chairperson at UP. His recently represented SLSJ at the Fees Commission were he submitted an oral presentation before the commission.

Kyle is a 4rd year LLB Student at The University of Pretoria. He played a significant role in the formation of his branch was a member of a team that formulation SLSJ’s Fees Commission submission in 2016. Kyle is passionate about addressing economic inequality and continues his activism through his portfolio in SLSJ.

Nikhiel Deeplal is the former Chairperson of SLSJ NEC. He currently serves as an advisory to the NEC and continues his activism through this portfolio.
Ashleigh is an LLB Student at the University of the Western Cape completing her final year. SHe is passionate about ground level activism and has organised and coordinated most national SLSJ events and projects such as the Sanitary Wear Campaign and the #WeThePeople in partnership with CASAC.
