The Fellowship Programme strives to build the leadership capacity of a recent law graduate who is committed to social justice through creating opportunities to work in a public interest law firm.
The fellowship programme is designed to give the appointed fellow practical legal experience by working for and at the SECTION27 offices. The job will build legal, policy, mobilization and leadership capacity of the fellow. The fellow is required to support the work of the attorney under whom the fellow is working by undertaking legal and field research for the designated supervisors work on policy, advocacy and litigation.
The fellows will be expected to provide ongoing support to SLSJ.
The Fellows will be required to work from SECTION27’s offices in Johannesburg for the duration of the Programme. All final year law students and master’s students who are active members of SLSJ are invited to apply.
